One of the best things about living in Kentucky is that from time to time you find gorgeous places you have never seen or heard of before, but when you do find them you’re just flabbergasted that more people don’t know about it. In this case, it’s fitting to say that Progress Park actually found us as we were so fortunate to photograph the wedding of Tony + Sabrina at this hidden little gem of a venue.
It probably goes without saying, but we are so excited to share photos from this gorgeous wedding with y’all, and we hope you enjoy viewing the photos as much as we enjoyed taking them! Tony + Sabrina absolutely killed their engagement session so it didn’t really come at a surprise that their wedding was for sure gonna be one of our favorites to photograph.
It was about 10:30pm, the dance floor was starting to clear, the open bar was dishing out its last drinks and the wedding day was coming to a close. As we said our round of goodbyes and shared our hugs with the newlyweds, I couldn’t help but feel a little sad that it was all over. Granted, we had only known Tony and Sabrina as a couple for about 3 months, but just from the time we’ve spent with them between their engagement session and their wedding day it felt as if we had been friends for so much longer.
To the bride and groom, we are so thankful that our lives crossed paths, and we are so happy for the both of you as you open a new chapter in your lives and embark on your marriage journey. It was so refreshing to see how much you two love each other and how much fun you all have together. What stood out to us even more is the amount of friends and family you all have that love the both of you so deeply – having that type of love and support spurring you on is huge and such a difference maker in your marriage! We can only hope and pray to see the two of you dancing together 50-60 years from now at another wedding and being the last couple to walk off the floor during the “Anniversary Dance.” Until then, we know that the two of you will be practicing for that dance everyday in your kitchen (;
