If we could only use one word to describe this engagement session with Drew + Laura it would probably be “obsessed” — and even then, I think that would be an understatement! I literally tossed and turned most of Saturday night into Sunday morning because I was so eager to get these pictures edited.
What made this session so special was that it was a totally new location for us, which is always stimulating from a creative standpoint. Downtown New Albany has so many little historical spots that just made the session feel like a blast to the past. Not to mention the strings of lights stretching across every alley-way that added such a dreamy vibe to the evening. Not only was the location pure gold, but so were Drew + Laura. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the two of them were undercover models haha!
When we look at these photos of them we legitimately get chills because they have so many other friends that are photographers (amazing photographers, in fact), but still entrusted us to capture their love story. It truly is an honor and a blessing to be able to serve them and we are SO humbled and thankful to the Lord for giving us the opportunity!
It goes without saying that Drew + Laura are seriously stunning, but what stands out to us the most is how tender, compassionate, and welcoming the two of them are. As we were walking the quiet streets of downtown New Albany we had a moment where we stopped and just started talking about the wedding day (which we are so excited for). Laura had shared that above all else she wants her wedding to be a place where everyone attending, whether guest or vendor, feel loved and welcomed as if they were family!
To Drew + Laura, we are so blessed that we get to work with you all. The two of you are seriously so much fun to be around and full of so much joy! We are praying for you guys, your wedding, and more importantly your marriage, that you would daily pursue Christ and each other. Your wedding will be a massive party and we are so looking forward to celebrating with y’all!
